On behalf of our client, ELPEDISON, we are looking to recruit an Energy Efficiency Services – Sales Engineer/Consultant.

The position

Responsible for the day-to-day Energy Services Sales activities. He/she will pursue the promotion of the Company’s customized energy services solutions to the business segment, the identification or/and creation of customer interest for energy efficiency or/and energy conservation, the interfacing between the customer and the Department’s Engineering Team under the supervision of the Department’s Sales Section Head and in accordance to the overall guidelines provided by the Department’s Director. He/she will trace the market to identify and screen Energy Efficiency Services opportunities, consistent with the business plan, undertaking selected initiatives ensuring their implementation and achievement of the agreed technical and financial targets

Main Duties/Responsibilities

    • Implements the sales strategy for the customized energy services solutions and projects
    • Traces the market and exploits own network to identify potential customer leads
    • Submits a proposed Sales Development Plan to the Sales section head
    • Creates and develops leads for Energy Efficiency Services Projects
    • Identifies new sales opportunities within existing Elpedison Customer Portfolio in Energy or/and Natural Gas
    • Develops and deploys plans to increase Sales' performance
    • Is responsible for the efficient communication between ELPEDISON and the Energy Service customer. Precisely, performs customer initial contact, proposes ESCO type projects and customized energy solutions to the clients, collects all the necessary energy data, gathers the requested documentation by the Department’s Technical Team, negotiates contract with the customer in collaboration with the Department’s implementation team.
    • Proposes potential external partners for ESCO-type projects regarding customer leads generation or/and technical projects’ implementation and maintenance
    • Provides information regarding competitive offers and gathers market intelligence on a continuous basis
    • Provides tactical or ad-hoc reporting according to the requests and guidelines of the Department’s Director
    • Analyses and proposes ESCO related sales procedures' improvements along with ameliorations in the customized energy services value chain and sales pipeline
    • Evaluates feasibility of potential opportunities for further business development of Energy Efficiency Projects
    • Participates in the Department’s or Company’s ad-hoc projects according to the business evolving needs
    • Prepares presentations according to the Department’s emerging needs and Top Management requests

Job Requirements

  • BSC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • MBA or relevant degree in Economic or/and Finance is a pre-requisite
  • At least 3 to 4 years of professional experience in a similar position with both technical and commercial background, in the energy or/and technical services sector
  • Understanding of the Energy industry and Services
  • A proven track record in Sales
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
  • Solid communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills
  • Highly developed analytical and synthetic skills
