The company

Our client, a well-established organization in the brokerage/financial services industry, seeks to recruit an HR Generalist.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conducts employee onboarding and helps organize training & development initiatives
  • Initiates competency appraisals and provides needed trainings or supports during implementation of the initiative; reviews results and suggests development plans for all employees
  • Analyzes manpower needs in the operations, screens, conducts interviews and recommends candidates for vacancies, where needed
  • Works closely with General Manager and department heads to resolve employee issues and relations
  • Counsels and advises employees regarding work, family, or personal problems that may be affecting performance or engagement
  • Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assists in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Maintains employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhances job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities

Job Requirements

Main Qualifications/Personal Characteristics

  • BSc in Business Administration or relevant field
  • MSc in Human Resources Management will be considered an advantage
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in relevant role
  • Proficient user of MS Office
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ownership, strong communication and problem-solving skills
