Job Description

Accounting Coordinator – Fixed term contract  

PwC is handling on behalf of its client, a well-established multinational company in the field of Consumer Electronics, an Accounting Coordinator position. 

  • Support of accounting projects and administration
  • Compliance with the legislation and company processes
  • Analysis, control and reconciliation of accounts and reports
  • Preparation of tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax etc.)
  • Follow up and execution of tasks and processes in a timely and correct manner (e.g. postings, taxes, closings, reconciliations, credit, payments) 
  • Analysis of accounting systems, identification of any inaccuracies, handling corrective actions/remediation plans, problem solving, efficiency and recommendation for improvement measures
  • Handling payments, invoices and cash documents in accordance with the specified procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of loans, analysis of the effectiveness of the company’s credit control system and implementation of changes to improve profitability and reduce bad debts
  • Negotiation of the payment plans with customers and set up loan terms and conditions

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years of related work experience
  • University Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Professional knowledge and understanding of local GAAP regulations and taxation and IFRS
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient user of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset
  • Team spirit with a commercial aptitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical thinking
